As the most prestigious global event for the foundry industry, the 76th World Foundry Congress (WFC 2026) will take place from October 18 to 24, 2026 at Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Centre, Istanbul, Türkiye. The official theme is A Bright New Century | Shaping the New Ecosystem.
This congress marks two important anniversaries: the 100th anniversary of the World Foundry Organization (WFO) and the 50th anniversary of the Turkish Foundry Industrialists Association (TÜDÖKSAD). Hosted by TÜDÖKSAD under the auspices of WFO, WFC 2026 gathers foundry manufacturers, research institutions, material suppliers, experts and engineers worldwide for technical exchange and business networking.
The event includes keynote speeches, technical sessions, panel discussions, paper presentations, plant tours and gala dinner. Key topics cover cast iron, cast steel, non-ferrous casting, precision casting, additive manufacturing, smart & green foundry technology, as well as innovative molding materials and ceramic refractories.
